The SKF after-school program is designed not only as a resource to the parents of the SKF Academy but to the community at large. Our afterschool program is designed to accomplish three things: |

 |
Provide our regular students with extra religious and homework help classes to further strengthen their educational experience. |
|
|
| |
|
|
Provide all children of all races and religions within our community with after school programs that will enrich their lives. |
|
|
| |
|
 |
Educate and explore topics of interest to adults that will educate and clarify the religion of Islam, explore topics of interest to Muslims and non-Muslims alike and build bridges with other religions and cultures. |

Among the after school courses we offer are: |

Qur’an Reading & Recitation: |
|

|
|
A great emphasis is placed on proper reading and understanding. Tajweed(proper articulation) rules are introduced gradually through out
the course. |

|
Arabic as a Second Language (ASL): |

| |
|
|
An introduction to Arabic that covers a range of topics from letter recognition to the basic rules of grammar. Reading and writing is introduced
to advanced students. |

|
Homework Help: |
|
| |
|
|
Homework assistance for elementary core courses offered in a small group setting. The time slot in this course is determined by age and
level of the student enrolled. The age range is 5 - 14 years old and it covers grades K-8th grades. |
